We are calling everyone who is interested in pursuing careers in medicine; midwifery and the doula profession; biomedical sciences, math, research, and engineering. The World Health Organization (WHO) has predicted that we can drastically reduce the maternal mortality rate by recruiting and training more clinicians of color.
